Embossing
Embossing, debossing printing – it’s making a relief by applying hard pressure on a paper. Embossing can be made only on various papers.
This type of post printing is an elegant way to finish your product. The emboss effect can be done for such elements: letters, symbols, numbers, objects etc.
Embossed can be applied on many products:
- Business cards
- Postcards
- Brochures
- Invitations
- and many other products..
By this method the paper or other product is pressed between two surfaces: (matrix) and counter matrix.
Embossing can be made while pressing between cold or hot surfaces.
Usually the print is convex to its front side, but it’s possible to do a reverse embossing when the front side is conceived.
Embossing can be made as post printing job for offset, silkscreen print or digital printing.
